There are certain differences in structure and performance between multi-stage centrifugal blowers and multi-stage blowers. The following are the main differences between them:

Structural features: A multi-stage centrifugal blower consists of multiple centrifugal impellers arranged in a certain order to form a complete blower system. Each impeller has independent inlet and outlet, achieving multi-stage pressurization. The multi-stage blower uses multiple axial or mixed flow impellers in series to achieve multi-stage pressurization.

Working principle: The working principle of a multi-stage centrifugal blower is to suction gas from the inlet of the impeller through centrifugal force, and then accelerate the rotation of the impeller to pressurize the gas and send it to the next stage impeller. After multi-stage pressurization, the gas pressure gradually increases and is finally transported to the usage site through the outlet. The multi-stage blower, on the other hand, sucks in gas from the inlet and pressurizes it through the rotation of the axial or mixed flow impeller before sending it to the next stage impeller, ultimately outputting high-pressure gas.

Performance characteristics: The multi-stage centrifugal blower has a high pressure ratio and flow range, suitable for high-pressure and high flow gas transportation. Meanwhile, due to its multi-stage structure, the efficiency of multi-stage centrifugal blowers is relatively low. However, multi-stage blowers are slightly inferior to multi-stage centrifugal blowers in terms of flow rate and pressure, but perform better in efficiency, especially suitable for gas transportation with medium to small flow rates and medium to high pressures.

Application field: Multi stage centrifugal blowers are widely used in chemical, petroleum, natural gas, metallurgy and other fields, for conveying high-pressure and high flow gases. Multi stage blowers are more suitable for industries such as electricity, steel, cement, etc., and are used to transport gases with medium to small flow rates and medium to high pressures.
