Detailed explanation of the working principle of multi-stage centrifugal blower

Multi stage centrifugal blower is an efficient and stable gas conveying equipment widely used in fields such as chemical engineering, metallurgy, and power. Its working principle mainly includes the following steps:

Inhalation process: When the impeller of the motor driven fan rotates, the gas is sucked into the center of the impeller due to the centrifugal force. Gas accelerates between the blades of the impeller and flows towards the edge of the impeller.

Compression process: The gas obtains a higher velocity at the edge of the impeller and then enters the diffuser of the multi-stage centrifugal blower. In a diffuser, the gas velocity decreases and the pressure increases, thereby achieving gas compression.

Transmission process: After continuous compression by multi-stage impellers, the gas pressure gradually increases. Each stage of the impeller will compress the gas and transfer the compressed gas to the next stage of the impeller.

Exhaust process: After multi-stage compression, high-pressure gas finally gathers at the exhaust port of the blower and is transported to the required equipment through pipelines.

The multi-stage centrifugal blower adopts a multi-stage impeller series structure, which has a high compression ratio and efficiency. Meanwhile, due to its compact internal structure and smooth operation, it has been widely used in many industrial fields. When using a multi-stage centrifugal blower, it is also necessary to pay attention to regular maintenance and upkeep to ensure the normal operation of the equipment and extend its service life.
