What are the system components of a multi-stage blower
Time:2025-02-20 Size

Multi stage blower is an important equipment widely used in the industrial field, which achieves gas pressurization and transportation through multiple levels of compression processes. It mainly consists of the following systems:

1. Gas inhalation system

This is the starting part of the multi-stage blower, mainly responsible for introducing external gas into the interior of the blower. It usually includes components such as air intake and filter. The design of the air inlet should ensure that the gas can enter the blower smoothly and evenly; Filters are used to remove impurities and dust from the gas, preventing them from entering the interior of the blower and causing damage to the equipment.

2. Compression system

This is the core part of a multi-stage blower, consisting of multiple compression stages connected in series. Each compression stage includes key components such as impellers and diffusers. When the impeller rotates at high speed, it does work on the gas, allowing it to obtain kinetic energy and pressure energy; The diffuser is used to convert the kinetic energy of the gas into pressure energy, further increasing the pressure of the gas. As the gas passes through each compression stage, its pressure continuously increases.

3. Cooling system

Due to the large amount of heat generated by multi-stage blowers during compression, if not cooled in time, it will affect the performance and lifespan of the equipment. The function of the cooling system is to cool the compressed gas and key components of the blower. There are two common cooling methods: air cooling and water cooling. Air cooling uses a fan to blow air through the heat sink to remove heat; Water cooling utilizes circulating water to flow through cooling pipes and absorb heat.

4. Sealing system

The function of the sealing system is to prevent gas leakage and ensure the sealing performance of the blower. It usually uses mechanical seals, packing seals, and other methods to seal the shaft end, inlet and outlet of the blower. A good sealing system can reduce gas leakage and improve the efficiency of the blower.

5. Control system

The control system is used to monitor and control the operating status of the blower. It can monitor the pressure, temperature, flow rate and other parameters of the blower in real time, and automatically adjust the speed and valve opening of the blower according to the set parameters to ensure the stable operation of the blower.

Multi stage blowers, through the collaborative work of these systems, achieve efficient and stable gas pressurization and transportation functions, playing an important role in industrial production.
